What is Unbound Scenarios?
Unbound Scenarios is a resource available from the Nursing Central platform that uses case-based clinical scenarios to teach clinical judgement. It is integrated with other Nursing Central resources including Diseases & Disorders, Davis's Drug Guide, and Nurse's Pocket Guide, and includes NCSBN's Next Generation format questions. Learners can see correct answers with rationales upon completion of a scenario, and can export responses.
How do I access Unbound Scenarios from my desktop?
Unbound Scenarios is available from Nursing Central on the SHA Library website. When you go to access a scenario for the first time, you will be prompted to log in to your existing Nursing Central personal account or to create a new free account. If you have the Nursing Central app downloaded already, you have an existing personal account. You do NOT need to register through SHIRP because your access is already provided through the SHIRP subscription.
How do I access Unbound Scenarios from my mobile app?
To add Unbound Scenarios to your Nursing Central mobile app, you must update your content. To do so, click on the menu button and select "Update Content". Unbound Scenarios will display with your list of resources upon completion of the update.
